The Origin of ArteBall

ArteBall emerged from an experimental question:

Can a football match be experienced and recorded without watching it?

Rather than following the visual action on screen, the work began through listening — following live radio commentary and responding directly through drawing.

Without images, the match unfolds through rhythm, pace, tension and sudden shifts in the commentator's voice.

Over time, repeated gestures, interruptions and movements developed into a visual language that became ArteBall.

Each drawing records not simply the events of a match, but its emotional structure as experienced through sound.
