It started with a question.
One day, in the back of a taxi in Madrid, Cassandra Constant noticed the driver listening intently to a live football match on the radio. Without seeing the game, he seemed to know exactly what was happening on the pitch.
She found herself wondering:
How does he know where the ball is?
The question stayed with her.
A painter for more than thirty-five years, Cassandra has always been curious about finding new ways to translate experience into art. Years later, that question became one of the ideas behind ArteBall.
Today, every ArteBall drawing begins in exactly the same way: by listening to a live football match on the radio.
Cassandra's work has been exhibited internationally and includes two artist residencies. She lives and works in Spain.
